Poco has officially introduced the Poco C85, the latest addition to its C-series lineup. As expected from the budget-friendly C-series, this device positions itself as a low-end smartphone without 5G connectivity, but it still manages to pack some interesting features for its price segment.

The Poco C85 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset, coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage, offering decent performance for everyday tasks and light gaming. On the front, it features a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 810 nits peak brightness, ensuring good visibility even under sunlight.

For photography, the device is equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Powering the phone is a massive 6,000mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging, allowing users to enjoy longer screen time without frequent charging.
Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The Poco C85 has dimensions of 171.56 x 79.47 x 7.99 mm and weighs 205 grams. It will be available in three attractive colors – purple, black, and green.
Interestingly, the Poco C85 is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi 15C 4G, which was announced earlier in August. Aside from the branding and color options, both smartphones share identical specifications.
With its huge battery, high-refresh-rate display, and competitive pricing, the Poco C85 aims to be an appealing choice for budget-conscious users looking for a daily driver.
